How does BYOK billing actually work?
You bring your own key for a provider we support (fal.ai or Replicate). Every generation is billed by that provider, directly to you, at their raw API price — we never see that money and never mark it up. The $9.99/mo you pay us only covers the studio itself.
Is my API key safe?
It's encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before it ever touches our database, never logged or displayed in plaintext after you save it, and never shared with anyone else. You can delete it from Settings at any time — deletion is immediate. Full details in our Terms.
What if I only generate a little?
Then the math might not favor us — and the calculator above will say so. Light usage is where a credit subscription's low tiers can beat a flat $9.99/mo. We're built for people who generate enough that credit markup actually hurts. Try the Light preset in the calculator and see the real number for your volume.
Which providers do you support?
fal.ai and Replicate today. Both are BYOK — you connect your own account, we never resell their capacity. More providers may be added over time; the studio UX and the calculator stay the same either way.
Do my credits expire?
There are no credits. You pay your provider directly per generation, so there is nothing to expire, roll over, top up, or lose. The only recurring charge from us is the flat $9.99/mo studio fee.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings whenever you want — no retention flow, no phone call. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Your saved keys and generated assets stay in your account either way.
What happens after the 7-day trial?
A card is required to start the trial. If you don't cancel first, it converts to the regular $9.99/mo subscription — no surprise multi-month lock-in, no price increase at conversion.
